Touch Screens

The use of touch screens with electronic medical records documentation is different than that used with simple order entry.  The user ( GUI ) documentation interface takes up more computer screen landscape than a traditional point and click mouse/cursor interface.  This means that to get the same amount of documentation interface choices more screens will need to be used.
